Resource points and billing
Resource points are the unit used to settle usage. Media, relay, recording and other resources convert to points under effective metering rules. The tenant shares one wallet; usage records retain application, classroom and resource context.

Four balance fields
| Console field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Available points | Unreserved balance available for new reservations or usage deductions |
| Reserved points | Points set aside for classrooms but not yet consumed |
| Consumed points | Cumulative usage already posted to the wallet |
| Overdraft points | Posted usage not yet covered by available or reserved points |
A reservation decreases available balance and increases reserved balance without counting as consumption. Posted usage consumes points; unused reserved points are released after settlement.
Point sources and deduction order
| Order | Source | Description |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Plan grant PLAN_GRANT | Issued on activation or under an agreed grant schedule |
| 2 | Promotional grant PROMO_GRANT | Issued by a campaign or operator, with batch-specific validity |
| 3 | Resource pack PAID_PACK | Separately issued resource points |
| 4 | Long-term points LONG_TERM | Long-term points issued under account terms |
| 5 | Credit facility CREDIT | Points enabled under an enterprise agreement |
| 6 | Overdraft OVERDRAFT | Uncovered usage recorded when the balance is insufficient |
Ordinary deductions select eligible batches by source priority, then expiry and effective time. Within a priority, earlier-expiring points are used first. Reserved points settle against the associated classroom reservation.
Incoming points first repay recorded overdraft, with the remainder entering available balance. This also applies to plan grants under the current issuance rules. Repayments appear in the ledger.
Validity and expiry
- Plan grants: the current activation flow issues one batch when the subscription starts, expiring with that subscription. Check individual batches for subsequent contractual grants.
- Resource packs: valid for twelve months from issuance by default; exact dates appear under Point sources.
- Promotional, long-term and credit facilities: validity follows batch and contract terms. Batches without an expiry are shown as valid indefinitely.
Expired batches cannot fund new reservations or deductions. Unused plan grants produce expiry ledger entries when they expire. Changing or renewing a plan does not reset existing resource pack expiry dates.
Reference pack prices
These CNY amounts come from the website reference catalog. Final settlement follows your quotation and contract.
| Pack | Reference price | Price per point |
|---|---|---|
| 100,000 points | ¥1,400 | ¥0.014 |
| 500,000 points | ¥6,500 | ¥0.013 |
| 2,000,000 points | ¥24,000 | ¥0.012 |
| 10,000,000 points | ¥110,000 | ¥0.011 |
Estimate resource costs as points multiplied by the applicable pack unit price. This excludes subscription fees, tax adjustments and separately agreed services. See Usage estimates for examples.
Classroom reservations and settlement
- Creation: the service checks entitlements, estimates usage from capacity, duration, relay and recording settings, and reserves points. Starting the class reuses that reservation.
- Initial reserve: the amount is the largest of 20% of estimated total usage, estimated window usage and the configured minimum. The default minimum is 500 points and can vary by deployment.
- Usage: when usage intervals close and are posted, points are deducted from the classroom reservation. Any shortfall uses other available points, followed by overdraft if necessary. Reservations can be extended during class.
- End or expiry: unused reserved points are released after related usage is posted. Pending usage can delay settlement.
For example, with an initial reservation of 500 points and final usage of 480, no additional usage or reservations, 480 points are consumed and 20 return to available balance. The reserved amount is not a minimum classroom charge.
Concurrent classrooms each reserve points. Creation can return INSUFFICIENT_POINTS when available balance cannot cover the initial reserve, even if other classrooms still have reserved points.
Review billing
Open Usage & Billing in the console:
| Page | Shows |
|---|---|
| Point ledger | Balance changes from grants, reservations, consumption, releases, expiry, overdraft and repayment |
| Usage | Resource type, quantity, duration, rated points, status and classroom or user details |
| Reservations | Estimated, reserved and consumed points, plus settlement status per classroom |
| Point sources | Source, validity, remaining and reserved amounts for each batch |
Usage time and posting time may differ. Pending-rating records have not completed final deduction; reconcile usage status with ledger entries. Accounting retains up to six decimal places, while the UI generally displays two. Summing displayed rows may therefore introduce rounding differences.
Insufficient balance
Balance alerts, grace and suspension states appear in account information. Usage incurred during grace still requires settlement. Incoming points repay overdraft first. Reservation requirements, plan entitlements and validity must also be satisfied.
For billing investigations, retain the application ID, classroom ID, time range, usage records and reservation records. Compare member durations with console attendance details instead of deriving actual usage solely from scheduled class time.
